You probably already know about the popular Halloween events for adults in or close to Louisville KY for 2011. This is why we want to provide you with some different events that are geared to adults (some to children too) and do something fun that maybe you've never done before!

Cost: Free to members, Free to non-members with $5 per car environmental fee


Nature discovery stations, arts & crafts, music, pumpkin painting, face painting, hayrides, maze, wool spinning demos, geocaching instruction, and live music & entertainment. Call 502-955-8512 for more details.

Halloween Extravaganza - Car/Truck/Motorcycle Cruise, Ballardsville Fire & Rescue, 4604 S. Hwy 53


Saturday, October 29, 2011 - 4:00 - 9:00 pm


A treat for Oldham County! Both registration & food proceeds benefit WHAS Crusade for Children. Get some beans & cornbread or hot dogs/hamburgers. It will be fun for the kids to dress up in costume and trick-or-treat from car to car, visit the haunted forest, and play games!


Cost: Free to public, $15 registration to be in car/truck/motorcycle cruise

Oldham County's Largest Safety and Halloween Festival, Oldham County Fairgrounds, W. Hwy. 146, LaGrange KY


Saturday, October 15, 2011 - 5:00-9:00 pm


Lots of free activities for kids! Fire Safety House, Electrical Safety Demonstration (meet Louie the Lightning Bug), Stranger Danger & Personal Safety Demonstration, Sit Inside Police Cars, Ambulances, & Fire Trucks, Child Fingerprinting, Bounce Houses, and Trick-or-Treating. Also available are chili & hot dog dinner, games, hay rides, and costume contest through age 12.

Cost: Admission is free - parking is $2.
