Maroon 5 Concert This Weekend in Louisville KY

Photo courtesy of Luca Conti, flickr
Here is something fun for you to do in Louisville this weekend! Okay, I know we've already discussed the Kentucky State Fair concerts, but Maroon 5 is too good not to elaborate on. I fell in love with Maroon 5 with the release of their CD, "It Won't Be Soon Before Long."  Peter B. and Kelly K. were talking about it on their morning radio show on WDJX.

Peter B. (who is no longer with the station) was going on about how great the CD was, so I went online and listened to the samples of songs. They sounded good so I purchased the CD. My husband ended up liking it too!

After watching the lead singer of Maroon 5, Adam Levine, on the TV show The Voice, I realized what a sweetheart of a guy he is too. We won't be able to make it to the concert this weekend but I'd encourage anyone to go. You'll hear some great music and be energized by their performance!

The group Train will also be with them. Their best known song is Drops of Jupiter.

Ticket information can be found here at the Kentucky State Fair website. Cost is $40 and $50 per person and does not include state fair admission. The concert will begin at 8:00 p.m. Sunday.
