Another wildflower event to attend the following weekend will be at Creasy Mahan Nature Preserve's Nature Center. It is just east of the Metro Louisville area, easily accessible from U.S. 42 (Brownsboro Road turns into US 42), off Highway 1793 (near the North Oldham school campus).

The "Wildflower Open House Saturday" will be Saturday, April 16, 2011 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. There will be a wildflower expert there to tell you stories about the uses and history of flowers. It is a free event and there will also be free crafts for the kids!
